In what may have been a historic first in Hingham GALS basketball history, Coach Kevin Jensen competed in and won the Championship Sunday Daily Double. 

Part one of feat was that both Coach Jensen's teams (Division 2-B and 3-A) made the finals.  Part two of the feat (the historic part) was that both teams won their respective championships.

In both games, the story lines were the same, including the number of points scored by Team Jensen in each game; 22.

Tightly fought contests through the first three quarters, and Team Jensen found a way to pull away in the fourth quarter.  

In the Division 2-B (fifth & sixth grade) championship game against Team Gannon, a 10-4 fourth quarter run was used by Team Jensen to extend a narrow 12-11 third quarter lead, on route to the 22-17 victory.

In the Division 3-A (seventh & eighth grade) championship game against Team Berger, the same formula was used.  Team Jensen used a 9-4 fourth quarter run to extend a 13-10 third quarter advantage to a 22-14 victory.
